We’re talking about infidelity…

This past week I got the chance to interview Psychotherapist and Relationship Expert, Esther Perel. She’s come out with her second book The State of Affairs: Rethinking Infidelity and this book is a must read.

Esther has been a psychotherapist for over 30 years and has spent the last decade traveling the world having conversations with people from all different cultures around infidelity. Her first book and international bestseller Mating in Captivity has been translated into twenty-six languages, and her two highly acclaimed TED talks have reached over 17 million viewers.

Esther has ignited a new conversation around the painful nature of cheating, affairs, and betrayal.

Instead of immediately coding infidelity as bad and wrong, it is important to stay curious to the nuances and complexities that come with it.

It’s not as black and white as most of us want to think. Sometimes infidelity can be the awakening needed to forge a more connected honest relationship or it could be the clarity needed to face who we’re really with.

This is exactly the juicy conversation I have in my interview with Esther, check it out here.

You’ll learn:

  • Esther’s answer to the most common question she gets, “Is she for or against infidelity?”
  • What step you can take now to heal if you’ve experienced betrayal within relationships.
  • How to have a healthy conversation with your partner to talk through your definition of an affair or cheating.
