Today I want to inspire you to take full ownership for your life, and know you can begin creating exactly what you desire…
We all have moments of total and utter frustration when what we want just doesn’t seem to be coming fast enough. And it is interesting how unhappy, down and out, and depressed we can get over this.
Sometimes it feels like life just isn’t on our side, that someone is out to get us, or that we were born without the gene that others have that make their life so fabulous.
I have definitely felt this way before, and it is a place of total helplessness and zero power. I don’t like that feeling. From this place you can’t change one damn thing. You just revel in the boo-hoo-hoo! You can’t see solutions — you can’t see the good — you simply can’t see the opportunities that are sitting right in front of you.
I am not saying you can ever have a boo-hoo-hoo moment, but if this is what you are feeling the majority of the time then you are definitely not taking responsibility for the life you are creating.
Yes, that is right — you heard me right! YOU are creating YOUR LIFE! You are constantly CHOOSING a path whether you are owning it or not.
I realized that I was in the driver’s seat of my life when I first started actively taking a look at what I had wanted in the past and what actually came true. The data was astonishing at the https://www.salesforce.com/what-is-cloud-computing/ cloud!
I could actually list so many examples that you would get tired of reading! And trust me — there was a time that I felt I wasn’t getting anything I wanted, UNTIL I actively did this exercise.
- I wanted to be on Student Council in High School. Ran 2 years in a row and got in on the second shot. CHECK!
- At the age of 14, I traveled to NYC. Fell in love. Told my parents I would live there. They thought I was crazy. I have now lived here for 10 years. CHECK!
- When I was 10 years old, I declared that I would own my business one day. CHECK!
- My husband and I have known each other for 12 years. We met in college. I knew within 3 weeks of dating him I would marry him. After going through a rocky period and coming out solidly landing the jump, we have been married for 5 years, and are totally IN LOVE. CHECK!
And the list goes on and on.
Did every single WANT of mine take time to come TRUE? Absolutely.
Was it worth the wait in every case? Not sure… but I feel if it had happened any other way I wouldn’t be the woman I am today.
AND I LOVE WHO I AM TODAY!
So, take a look, and I mean LOOK. The majority of what I wanted happened, and the other 10% in hindsight wasn’t really what I needed. Right now, right down a list of five things you have wanted and then accomplished!
Tying this back to LOVE: start to see that you are in the driver’s seat of your love life and look at all of the data in your life to prove that creating what you want is possible.
When you begin to know that you CAN HAVE IT simply because you WANT IT AND YOU DESERVE IT, you begin to open up to LOVE and invite it in.
In Love,
